So I did an assignment for Psych class about fast food and I felt like sharing my answer because I felt so intensly about my answer. So here it goes:
"In regards to fast food; everyone knows it's bad for our bodies, yet pretty much everyone is america eats it and we are the 'fatest nation'. Everyday on TV we see advertisements for fast food restaurants and can't help but get tempted to want what we see repeatedly. Our brains get intoxicated with the media feeds us. (no pun intended). McDonalds advertises snack wraps, salads, and fruit parfaits; subway and their footlongs; taco bell and the fresco menu and then we see a Bally Total Fitness Commercial, weightwatchers, Alli, nutrisystem, etc.. Just because the fast food resturants are promoting these 'healthy' menus doesn't mean they are healthy at all. Fast food is called fast food for a reason because of the preservatives and not so fresh food they are able to keep prices low. As americans we make ourselves believe we can go through a drive through and order something off the fresco menu everyday and then go to the gym for 30 minute 2 times a week and wonder why were not losing weight. Or even be on weightwatchers or nutrisystem and not exercise and see no results it's because we are convinced by what we see on TV. We are humans we can't just pop pills and expect results with out the work. Psychologically we are pressured to look like Kim Kardashian, those guys from jersy shore and the models we see everyday on TV and the magazines because it's what society sees as beautiful. But realistically we don't see what happens behind the scenes and I think we fail to believe it. These social icons workout 6-7 days a week for 2-3 hours a time and pay for personal trainers to get them results, average americans can do that."

AVON
If anyone is interested in AVON, please let me know. My mother also sells AVON online as a representative- Marixa Moreno, IL. She has some pretty amazing offers, and I buy from her all the time, My fiance gets mad at me for it, but I love the products and surprisingly the FASHION as well.
Digital Cameras.....
So I was really frustrated becasue my fiance was trying to be nice and get me a camera so we can have our own finally, especially since were expecting in like less than two weeks, and it back fired on us. The camera SUCKED!!! It was a Nikon Coolpix. I was so excited, I felt like Ashton Kutcher was gonna pop out and take a picture with me, but no. I started to take pictures of my sons nursery to sent to family in Florida and the pictures were awful. Well low and behold we ended up returing it and getting a differnt on. I think its a Samsung. The pictures are coming out much better. I was just so disappointed that the Nikon didn't work like I thought it would. I guess you need the touch screen Nikon to be with the program, I don't know. Oh well I guess.

Life and Happiness
I'm so excited about so many things. I got my new furniture, I think my mom might be throwing me a baby shower this weekend, I saw Dear John, and I'm about to be 36 weeks. Almost done with my pregnancy. First I have to say Dear John was not what I expected. I really like it, and especially because my fiance took me to see it, but I think I was disappointed because it wasn't what I expected. I love Channing Tatum and I joke with my fiance about him being my boyfriend, but I know he's not exactly the best actor in the world, can not be compared to Johnny Depp at all. My couches are FABULOUS!!!! I bought curtains and pillows to go with the furniture. My next project is the bathroom. I want to decorate it in in black and white and the shower curtain I want is at Target. I haven't decided yet which one of two I'm going to get but I will get one of them.

My couches
My fiance and I decided we were going to get couches with some of our income tax money, and I can't wait until we can pick them up. I wanted to pick them up Sunday, but the next pick up day is Tuesday, which upsets me because Ben, my fiance, isn't off. We decided to get couches because I'm due in few weeks and these couches are going to be much more comfortable to have than what we have now. We currently have a 3 piece light beige leather set his mother let us have, but leather isn't comfortable after 10 or 12 years, so we thought it'll be a good idea for something new. I'm so excited, just because I'm home much more then he is and I can't wait to be more comfortable while watching T.V.

Hurt Locker
I recently watched the movie 'The Hurt Locker' and it wasn't bad at all. I fell asleep for like 10 minutes of it, but that's because I was sleepy, not because it was boring. It wasn't a bad movie I just didn't like the ending at all. I guess everyone is entitled to there own opinion. If anyone has any comments about this movie please feel free to let me know. I am open to discussion.

Food for Thought
Non-Alcoholic Beer Is Alcoholic
In spite of the name, non-alcoholic beer does contain some alcohol (up to 0.5 percent) as a result of the way that it's produced.
Just like real beer, non-alcoholic beer is brewed using malted grain and hops. However, at the end of the brewing process, measures are taken to reduce the alcohol content of the mixture.
Commonly, beer is gently heated under reduced pressure. Because ethanol (alcohol) has a lower boiling point than water, more ethanol evaporates than water, resulting in a lower alcohol content for the final product. However, the process of heating the mixture adversely affects the taste of the beer.
Alternatively, alcohol can be filtered from the brewed liquid by forcing it through a membrane at high pressure. Anheuser-Busch brews O’Doul’s using this method. Although heat is not applied in this process, filtered beers such as O’Doul’s don't have any flavor advantage over other non-alcoholic beers like Kaliber, Clausthaler or Buckler, which are produced using evaporation techniques.

Words to Express
Shopping with absolutely NO MONEY!!! Yesterday I went the mall and was just browsing.... BEHOLD two hundred dollars spent at Express!! I couldn't beleive it. I was so upset with myself, and the worst part of it all is that I used my fiances credit card, Express card, and since it's limit just got increased I think I went a little over board. See, it's so easy to spend there because everything costs an arm and a leg, but I shopped for no reason, just because. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but money is money and I think I'm more shocked that I spent that much for no reason. I don't know, I seem to have a shopping problem though. You guys should watch that movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic," that's me, just a bit milder, since I don't live in New York and I really did cut up all MY OWN credit cards. So sad, but I love to shop.

100%
I just took my first quiz and received a 100% YAY!!!! I really don't know how to work the online courses yet, but I think I'm figuring it out. I'm excited about school. My financial aid didn't go through and that was a little frustrating. I called yesterday evening and they said I was disqualified for this semester because last semester I wasn't registered. Now I have to pay for my classes myself. Luckily I rented my books from Ghegg.com, I think everyone should use this site for college textbooks, and they were really cheap. That's it for now, I think I'm getting use to this blogging thing. It rminds me of Julie and Julia, the movie. Feeling better today.

First Day of School
The first day back to school in awhile has been very stressful. I'm excited about coming back to school, but I have so much going on in my life. I want to do well, and STOP my PROCRASTINATION!!!! Maybe that should have been my New Year's Resolution, but I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions because they never work (at least for me they don't). So I'll just make it a goal.
New to Blogging
I'm not exactly sure how to blog, but I'm assuming you just write daily on thoughts and ideas you have. I'm excited to start this, but very confused.
