Digital Cameras.....
So I was really frustrated becasue my fiance was trying to be nice and get me a camera so we can have our own finally, especially since were expecting in like less than two weeks, and it back fired on us. The camera SUCKED!!! It was a Nikon Coolpix. I was so excited, I felt like Ashton Kutcher was gonna pop out and take a picture with me, but no. I started to take pictures of my sons nursery to sent to family in Florida and the pictures were awful. Well low and behold we ended up returing it and getting a differnt on. I think its a Samsung. The pictures are coming out much better. I was just so disappointed that the Nikon didn't work like I thought it would. I guess you need the touch screen Nikon to be with the program, I don't know. Oh well I guess.

I know how you feel to be let down by something that a celebrity has endorsed. I forgot what it was exactly that I had bought, but I remember I bought it just because the person who was in the commercial for it made it look awesome. It wasn't awesome. It wasn't even close. I was lucky enough to exchange it for a full refund.

I'm surprised about your experience. Nikon is supposed to be known for good quality cameras. I had a Nikon film camera for a photography class a while back and I loved it. I considered getting a Nikon digital camera but I'm not so sure now. Thanks for the heads-up.

My fiancee swears by cannon and will never willingly touch a Nikon. Hopefully your new camera works better for ya. Gotta get pics of a new baby.
